Abrasive linishing belts in zirconia, ceramic and aluminium oxide: file sander and narrow belts from 20mm wide, 36 to 120 grit, for steel and stainless.

Abrasive belts for linishers, file sanders and belt machines, predominantly from Pferd: aluminium oxide general purpose belts, zirconia belts for fast stock removal on steel, and ceramic and ceramic top-size belts that hold their edge on stainless and harder alloys. Common sizes run from 20 x 520mm file sander belts through 50 x 914mm and 75 x 2000mm linishing belts, in grits from 36 to 120.

Suited to fabrication shops finishing welded frames, deburring cut edges and shaping stock before assembly.

Which belt material should I run?

  • Aluminium oxide: the economical general purpose choice for mild steel and light deburring.
  • Zirconia: a tougher grain for aggressive stock removal on steel.
  • Ceramic: self-sharpening grain for stainless and heat-sensitive work; it cuts cooler and lasts longest.
