Cutting wheels for angle grinders and air tools: Pferd premium SG and START wheels, Flexovit and Norton wheels, and Alpha silver series bulk tubs, from 76mm small-diameter discs through the workhorse 100mm and 125mm sizes. Steel, inox and aluminium-specific grades are all covered, including 0.8mm and 1mm extra-slim wheels for fast, low-burr cuts.

This is the highest-turnover abrasive in most fabrication shops, so bulk tubs sit alongside single discs.

What thickness cutting disc should I use?

• 0.8 to 1mm: fastest, cleanest cuts in sheet and tube with the least burr.
• 1.6mm: better edge life on thicker sections and intermittent cuts.
• 2.5mm and up: heavy solid stock where disc durability matters more than speed.
