Gas Kits

Complete gas kits bundle regulators, blowpipe, cutting attachment and accessories into one purchase. The core of the range is Cigweld's BlueJet family: Tradesman oxygen/acetylene and oxygen/LPG kits, 4-pack and 6-pack configurations with two regulators, blowpipe and cutting attachment (the 6-pack adds two sets of flashback arrestors), through to the 8-pack gas slab that includes gas hose and a flint lighter. Oxy/acetylene or oxy/LPG — which kit should you buy?

Acetylene burns hotter, pierces faster and is the only common fuel gas suited to actual gas welding. Oxy/LPG runs on cheaper, more readily available fuel and handles cutting, heating and brazing well — most maintenance and demolition work sits comfortably there. Pick the kit for the gas you'll actually run, because regulators, tips and flashback arrestors are fuel-gas specific.
