How do you choose the right regulator?

• Gas type — regulators are built for a specific gas; an argon flowmeter and an LPG regulator are not interchangeable.
• Cylinder connection — match the inlet to your cylinder valve; Type 10, Type 21, Type 30 and Type 50 connections all appear in this range.
• Outlet pressure and flow — check the outlet kPa or litres-per-minute range your torch or process actually needs before sizing up.
