The soldering range pairs Kincrome and Hot Devil: electric soldering irons at 30, 60 and 80 W, a rechargeable iron for cordless jobs, butane 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 indexing head irons, triple head and slimline blow torches, solid wire solder for plumbing and auto work, and a 10 piece plastic welding kit.
Plumbers, auto electricians and repair benches are the regulars, with the torches doing double duty on heat-shrink and pipe work.
Electric, gas or rechargeable iron?
Electric suits the bench where power is a given; butane goes anywhere and doubles as a heat tool; rechargeable covers quick jobs without dragging leads or carrying gas. Higher wattage buys faster heat recovery on bigger joints.
