Products
This section holds two related but different products: welding blankets, used to shield surrounding plant, equipment and finished surfaces from spatter and heat during welding or cutting, and fire blankets for smothering small fires. The welding blanket range is the established one, with fire blankets growing as the range expands.
Is a welding blanket the same as a fire blanket?
No. A welding blanket is a working tool you drape over or around the job to catch spatter and radiant heat for the duration of the work. A fire blanket is emergency equipment designed to smother a small fire once it has started. They are built and rated differently, so use each for its intended job.
