Goggles
Safety goggles from foam-bound clear styles to shade 5 gas welding goggles, including anti-fog Maxisafe, Pro Choice and Scope designs.
Products
Goggles here run from sealed clear styles — Maxisafe foam-bound goggles, the Pro Choice Proteus G1 and Ambush spec/goggle hybrids, Scope anti-fog designs — to welding-specific options: Unimig gas welding goggles and Maxisafe shade 5 rectangle and foam-bound goggles for oxy cutting and brazing.
What shade goggles do I need for oxy work?
Shade 5 is the standard filter carried in this range for oxy-acetylene cutting, heating and brazing, cutting the flare to a workable brightness. It is not enough for arc welding — arc processes need a proper welding helmet with a much darker filter, so keep the two jobs separate.
WeldCo supplies goggles alongside its gas equipment range from Melbourne and Adelaide.
