Mechanics Gloves
Products
Built for spanner work rather than spatter, this range includes the Elliotts G-Flex nitrile technical gloves, Maxisafe G-Force synthetics with grip, fingerless, anti-vibration and oil-shedding variants, and PIP G-Tek general-purpose mechanics styles including skin-contouring fits. Cold-work options like the Dexifrost cover early starts and freezer-adjacent tasks.
What makes a mechanics glove different from a riggers glove?
Fit and feel. Mechanics gloves use thin synthetic palms and stretch backs so you can handle fasteners, tools and small parts without taking them off. Riggers gloves are leather and built for abrasion from ropes, steel and timber, but you lose fine dexterity. If you spend the day on tools, mechanics gloves win.
WeldCo keeps the popular sizes in stock across its Melbourne and Adelaide operations.
