Needle resistant gloves are a narrow but critical specialty, and this range is built around the Maxisafe Rhinoguard full-protection glove in a spread of sizes. They are designed for work where hidden sharps are the primary hazard: waste and recycling sorting, clean-up crews, security searches and plumbing recovery work.
Are cut resistant gloves enough for needle protection?
No. Cut resistance measures a blade sliding across the glove; a needle attacks point-first between fibres, which defeats most cut-rated fabrics. Needlestick protection needs a purpose-built layered construction like the Rhinoguard, so treat the two ratings as separate requirements.
