The lifeline range currently carries the Bailey rope lifeline — the vertical line that runs from anchor point down the roof, which a rope grab travels along to keep the worker connected across the whole work area.
How does a rope lifeline fit into a roof kit?
Anchor at the ridge, lifeline down the slope, rope grab on the line, lanyard from grab to harness. The grab follows you as you move and locks under sudden load. Inspect the rope for cuts, stiffness and UV chalking before each use, and retire it after any fall arrest.
