Why do gas cylinders need a cage?
An unrestrained cylinder is a projectile risk if the valve shears, a fire hazard if leaks pool indoors, and a manual handling injury waiting to happen. A cage fixes all three: cylinders stand chained upright in open air, locked away from tampering, with fuel and oxidiser gases kept apart. It is also the first thing a gas delivery driver looks for.
