Why not just use a general purpose kit on fuel?
Outdoors and around water, general purpose absorbents saturate with rain or wash water before they touch the fuel. Oil-and-fuel absorbents float and ignore water, so every pad works on the hydrocarbon — which is why they are the requirement near drains, wash bays and waterways, and why the marine kit exists.
