Welding Curtains & Screens

Screening the arc protects everyone who is not wearing a helmet. This range covers Elliotts ArcSafe welding screens in red and green across multiple sizes, slit screens for walk-through access, welding frame and screen kits around 1800mm x 2000mm, portable welding screens, Torchmaster red welding curtains with stud fixings, and chrome leather welding drapes for shielding plant and cable runs.

Fabrication shops use them to line bays; site crews use portable screens to isolate hot work around other trades.

Red or green welding curtains — what is the difference?

Both filter harmful arc light; the practical difference is visibility and light levels. Green panels absorb more visible glare, making them easier on nearby workers in enclosed shops. Red-orange panels let more visible light through, so supervisors can see movement behind the screen — often preferred around walkways. Many shops mix both: green for fixed bays, red for temporary isolation.
