Sub Merged Arc
Submerged arc wire — Lincolnweld L-61 3.2mm on 25kg reels and Talarc EB2 and EB3 low alloy for high-deposition welding of beams, tanks and vessels.
Products
Submerged arc wire for high-deposition mechanised welding — Lincolnweld L-61 in 3.2mm on 25kg reels, and Talarc EB2 and EB3 low alloy wires for chrome-moly service. These pair with a granular flux for beam lines, tank seams and pressure vessel fabrication.
What is submerged arc wire used for?
Long, straight, repeatable welds: girth seams, beam webs and flanges, and vessel shells where the flux blanket permits very high currents with no visible arc, spatter or fume plume. General purpose carbon steel wire covers most work under a neutral flux, while low alloy EB2 and EB3 step in when the job calls for CrMo creep resistance.
WeldCo supplies sub arc wire and matching flux to Melbourne and Adelaide fabricators on trade terms.
