Which feed roller groove do I need?
Match the groove to the wire: V-groove for hard solid steel wire, U-groove for soft aluminium, and knurled rollers for gasless and flux-cored wire, which needs grip without crushing. The stamped size must match the wire diameter — a worn or wrong roller is the usual cause of birdnesting and burnback.
