Retaining Caps
Plasma retaining caps for Unimig SC80 and SC120 torches and Duramax-pattern cutters — 45/65/85 A and 105 A caps that lock the stack together.
Products
Retaining caps that hold the plasma consumable stack on the torch: Unimig caps for the SC80 and SC120 (standard and heavy duty), an SC30 cap for the Viper Cut 30, and Duramax-pattern caps in 45/65/85 A and 105 A ratings.
Why won't my plasma torch fire after a rebuild?
A worn or cross-threaded retaining cap is a common cause — many torches will not start unless the cap seats the stack correctly. If the cap is heat-damaged or no longer torques up cleanly, replace it with the cap listed for your torch model and amperage.
