Do swirl rings actually wear out?
They do — the ring shapes the gas vortex around the arc, and cracks or charring upset the cut. Inspect it whenever you change tips and electrodes, and replace it if it is damaged rather than reassembling a compromised stack. Match the torch model in the listing.
