Batteries and chargers to keep the cordless fleet running: Metabo 18V packs from 2.0Ah compacts to 8.0Ah high-capacity LiHD, including bulk cartons of 5.5Ah packs, ASC 55 air-cooled and ASC 145 super-fast chargers, quick chargers to 6.5A, and starter packs pairing two batteries with a charger. Beyond the tool platform there are alkaline D cells and lithium button cells, a high-capacity battery for 3M Versaflo powered air respirators, anti-zap jumper leads and a 1000W pure sine inverter for 240V power from a 12V system.
What battery capacity should I buy?
- 2.0–4.0Ah: drills, drivers and lights — lighter tools, faster charges.
- 5.5–8.0Ah: grinders, saws and vacuums that pull hard all day.
A starter pack plus one spare usually keeps a two-tool kit working non-stop. WeldCo supplies batteries and chargers to trades from Melbourne and Adelaide.
