Mitre Saws
Products
Mitre saws for accurate crosscuts: Metabo compound and sliding compound saws from Ø216mm through Ø315mm, with cutting depths from 60mm to 120mm, cutting widths to 320mm, 47° bevels both sides on the larger models, mitre swings to 60° right, and lights, lasers and clamps for repeat accuracy. The KGS 254 Plus adds an induction motor with sliding function for quiet, low-maintenance bench work, and a swivel-head dual mitre metal-cutting band saw covers steel section where an abrasive saw won't do.
What size mitre saw should I buy?
A 216mm saw handles most trim and framing to around 60mm deep; step to 254mm for 90mm depth and 305mm width; the 305–315mm sliding saws cut 105–120mm deep for beams, sleepers and wide boards.
WeldCo supplies cutting equipment to trades across Melbourne and Adelaide.
