Coldsaw Blades - HSS
Coldsaw blades in HSS — Excision and Carbitool cobalt blades from 350 x 2.5 x 40mm 160T to 400 x 3 x 40mm 220T patterns.
Products
HSS and HSS-E cobalt coldsaw blades: 350mm diameter blades in 2.5mm thickness with 40mm bore at 160 and 180 teeth, and a 400 x 3.0 x 40mm 220-tooth blade, from Excision and Carbitool.
How many teeth should a coldsaw blade have?
Match tooth count to wall thickness — more teeth for thin-wall tube so several teeth share the cut, fewer for solid bar so gullets can clear the heavier chip. As with bandsaws, keep a minimum of three teeth engaged in the material.
WeldCo supplies coldsaw blades, and blades can be resharpened several times — ask in Melbourne or Adelaide.
