TCT metal cutting saws use carbide-tipped blades to cut steel fast and cool — the current range features a 355mm metal cutting drop saw suited to tube, pipe and structural section at the bench.
What's the advantage of TCT over an abrasive cut-off saw?
A TCT blade shears the metal rather than grinding it, so cuts are cooler, squarer and nearly burr-free with minimal sparks — and the workpiece is cool enough to handle straight away. Blade life is measured in hundreds of cuts when you keep the feed steady.
