Chucking
Chucking reamers — straight shank machine reamers for finishing holes to size in the drill press, lathe or machining centre.
Products
Chucking reamers are machine reamers with straight shanks, run in a drill chuck or collet to bring drilled holes to final size and finish under power feed.
What speed should I run a chucking reamer?
Roughly half the drilling RPM at about double the feed — slower speed with positive feed keeps the reamer cutting rather than rubbing, protecting both finish and tool life. Use cutting fluid in steel.
