How do I drive a hand reamer without ruining the hole?
Use a tap wrench on the square, keep the reamer dead square to the hole, and turn steadily clockwise while feeding in — never reverse. With 0.1–0.2mm left in the hole, the long lead taper will guide itself to a clean, accurate finish.
