Screw Extractors
Screw extractors and stud removers — TMIC extractors in graded sizes, 1/2 inch drive stud removers and internal bearing puller kits.
Products
When a fastener shears or a stud seizes, this is the recovery gear: TMIC extractors in ranges like 10–12mm and 17–20mm, a Koken 1/2 inch drive stud remover, and an internal bearing puller kit for pulling blind bearings. The subcategories below add drill-in spiral extractors and boxed extractor sets from Sutton and ALPHA.
It's maintenance-fitter territory — recovering broken bolts, studs and seized fasteners without resorting to drilling out and re-tapping oversize.
How do I get a broken bolt out?
- Stud snapped proud: grip it with a stud remover and wind it out.
- Broken flush or below: centre-punch, drill an accurate pilot, then drive a spiral extractor anti-clockwise.
- Before anything: penetrating oil and, where safe, heat — reducing the torque needed is what stops extractors snapping.
WeldCo supplies extraction tooling to maintenance trades in Melbourne and Adelaide.
