Tap Wrenches
Tap wrenches from Sutton — T-type, ratchet and adjustable bar wrenches covering taps from M1 up to M33 in the hand tapping range.
Products
The right handle makes the tap: Sutton T-type wrenches for small taps (M3–M6 and 1/2 inch patterns), a ratcheting T-type for confined spots, and adjustable bar wrenches in sizes from M1–M12 up to the #4 covering M9–M27 at 480mm long, plus an M12–M33 bar wrench for big threads.
T-type or bar-type tap wrench?
T-types give fingertip feel on small taps, where over-torque means a snapped tap; bar wrenches give two-handed leverage and squareness on larger sizes. Match the wrench range to the tap — a big bar wrench on an M4 tap is how small taps die.
WeldCo stocks tap wrenches for workshops in Melbourne and Adelaide.
