Do I need a magnetic base drill or a pedestal drill?
A mag base drill travels to the job — it clamps onto steel beams, columns and plate, and pairs with annular cutters for fast, accurate holes on site. A pedestal drill stays in the workshop and suits repeat drilling of smaller components you can bring to the table. Many shops run both.
